Sentence combining is a strategy that can be powerful when teaching academic vocabulary when you have your own classroom.

Create 5 sets of pairs of sentences that can be combined based on any subject area, grade level, etc. If you are ELA, it could be based on a text, etc. If you are a subject area, it could be based on academic vocabulary or anything your students may need to know. 10 points (Two points for each set IF all directions are followed.)
