Sustainable agriculture a system which combines animal and plant production in a given area. Sustainable agriculture is essential in that it ensures the earth can be reused and renewed by future generations. It focuses on using natural water, soil, and pest management instead of synthetic chemicals and petroleum-based fertilizers (Raliya et al., 2017). The ability to sustainably feed the world’s population is one of humanity’s most pressing needs. The challenge of feeding the rising population is made more difficult by modern-day farming methods’ impact on our environment and climate, which are rarely considered when making decisions on producing food for everyone’s benefit.

Sustainable agriculture largely affects land and all the things living there. It has many benefits over conventional agriculture, including increased soil fertility and crop yield, reduced costs, and less environmental impact. Sustainable agriculture provides many benefits to humans and the environment. Ideally, it produces more food per acre of land, thus using less seed, water, and fertilizer in the process (Tian et al., 2021). This allows room for wildlife which makes the environment healthier by balancing out the ecosystem. These crops are more beneficial for the consumer because they have a better taste and less pesticide residue.

Sustainable agriculture is essential to the earth’s environment. When farmers take care of their land and crops, they are taking care of environmental sustainability. Many actions can be taken to improve environmental sustainability. Sustainable agriculture is one of the most critical environmental issues that need to be addressed. Many ecological benefits come with sustainable agriculture. If environmental sustainability is not improved, ecological damage may have irreversible, lasting effects on our environment.
