Rock Structure
New England is located on the North East side of the US, and it is composed of six states. Over the years, the area has witnessed increased population and drastic growth. Causes of Surface Appearance

The geographical activities which formed Pangaea, and the current coastline found in the place remained due to the rift which happened at the time of Cretaceous and Jurassic. Second, the powerful pressure from glaciers caused abrasion, which led to the current surface appearance. The patterns were formed as the ice dropped down the slope. Ice striations facilitate the determination of the direction of a glacier (Karabinos et al., 2017). For example, it is easy to see ice flowing from east to north-west. The visible rock flour is also produced from the process of abrasion. As global warming intensified, glaciers began to melt, and water under the ice formed huge, fast-moving streams which caused a long winding ridge.
Third, New England is a tourist destination since it has several attraction sites which appeal to tourists from all parts of the world. As a result, many people visit the place to have a first-hand experience of what nature has to present. Mountain snow sport is another human activity which takes place in the region. The glaciers offer a perfect environment for those who enjoy sliding, skiing and snowshoeing. Hence, New England is a place of beauty which offers serene environment for both sports and tourism.

In conclusion, New England is a place which everybody should visit. It has perfect environment for various sport activities and its natural setting offers a chilling experience. Moreover, volcanic eruptions played a big role in forming the underground rocks and the present surface appearance is the result of the melting ice which drips down the slope. Hence, the area has unique features which attract tourists.
