These officers will also consider and borrow new ideas for relating with the targeted citizens positively and treating them as followers and not suspects. They will stop dehumanizing them and promote actions that have the potential to minimize racial bias, prejudice, and hatred. Consequently, more societies will record positive security outcomes and make community policing a reality.
