Nursing Autobiography
Many nurses use powerful concepts and competencies to promote the health conditions of their patients. Medical practitioners focus on the best ideas to promote the living conditions of different societies. Nurses should use “evidence-based ideas and concepts whenever improving the health conditions of their communities” (Hobbs, 2009, p. 61). I have worked as a nurse for several years. I became a Nurse Leader (NL) after several years of effective service delivery. I have gained new skills that have been supported by leadership goals. I will always mentor my workers to produce the best health outcomes. Nursing leadership is a powerful practice because it encourages caregivers to support the needs of different populations. I have worked in different healthcare organizations. My mission is to ensure every patient gets the best care. I have always encouraged my nurses to work in the best environments.
According to Edmonson (2010, p. 12), “many challenges and obstacles are encountered in different healthcare institutions”. Nurse Leaders (NLs) should identify new ideas and strategies that can deal with various problems. They should also embrace new theories in an attempt to produce the best results. I have always interacted with my patients and workmates positively. I have always empowered my caregivers to support their patients. NLs should “embrace evidence-based practices whenever treating their patients” (Hobbs, 2009, p. 58). According to Hobbs (2009, p. 58), “positive communication approaches, decision-making practices, and problem-solving are powerful practices that make different healthcare institutions successful”. It is appropriate for nurses to embrace new theories and evidence-based ideas whenever working in various healthcare organizations. My future goal is to widen my skills using the concept of continuous learning. I have always used the best ethical values whenever supporting my patients. Learning should be “a continuous process that seeks to support the changing needs of different communities” (Butts & Rich, 2010, p. 37).
The Four Meta-Paradigms of Nursing
Medical practitioners and healthcare providers use the four meta-paradigms of nursing to support their career goals. These meta-paradigms highlight the major concepts that can produce desirable medical outcomes. Nurse Practitioners (NPs) can benefit the most from these meta-paradigms. Different nursing theorists have used the four meta-paradigms to define their models. Some good examples of “these theorists include Patricia Benner, Betty Neuman, Madeleine Leininger, and Florence Nightingale” (Butts & Rich, 2010, p. 48). Nurse Leaders can use these meta-paradigms to support their careers. These meta-paradigms have always defined and guided my nursing philosophy.
Nursing
According to Edmonson (2010, p. 3), “nursing is a powerful practice that encourages medical practitioners to share, connect, empower, and support their patients”. Different leadership models have made it easier for many caregivers to support the health demands of their clients. I have always used this meta-paradigm throughout my nursing practice. My mission is to become a competent Nurse Leader (NL). Healthcare professionals should “portray the highest level of involvement, mentorship, and participation” (Butts & Rich, 2010, p. 43). Nursing should be “a powerful concept that seeks to produce the best results” (Butts & Rich, 2010, p. 43). Caregivers should promote the best relationships with their patients and clients. Continuous learning is a powerful concept that can widen my nursing competencies. I have always worked hard to empower my teammates. The practice encourages my employees to support the health needs of their patients (Hobbs, 2009).
Person
Human beings are “complex systems that cannot exist without the surrounding environment” (Edmonson, 2010, p. 4). These “complex systems explain why caregivers should support the energy fields existing between human beings and their surrounding environments” (Roussel, 2012, p. 5). I have always “reexamined the connection between my patients’ situations and the targeted health outcomes” (Butts & Rich, 2010, p. 45). Nursing is a powerful practice that produces the best connection between patients and their environments. Nurses should therefore be ready to address the issues affecting their patients. My goal is to produce the best health outcomes. According to Roussel (2012, p. 7), “the wellness of a person determines the success of his or her community”.
Health
Human beings encounter numerous health problems and challenges. A person “can achieve the best goals even if he or she has a disease” (Edmonson, 2010, p. 4). Nursing is a useful practice “that maintains the best equilibrium between human health and life” (Roussel, 2012, p. 9). A sick person can achieve the best goals in his or her life. My team uses “powerful concepts and practices in an attempt to produce the best health outcomes” (Edmonson, 2010, p. 7). Nursing and caring are powerful aspects that can support the health needs of many societies. This knowledge has made me a competent Nurse Leader. This strategy makes it easier for me to produce “the best equilibrium between nursing and human health” (Roussel, 2012, p. 11). Caregivers should therefore ensure more people achieve their goals.
Environment
Caregivers cannot “underestimate the role played by the environment whenever supporting the health demands of various patients” (Hobbs, 2009, p. 54). The environment is “characterized by numerous concepts, values, beliefs, physical events, and physiological developments” (Hobbs, 2009, p. 57). These strengths can address many health problems and challenges. Every Nurse Leader should have proper knowledge of the surrounding environment. This approach will present powerful concepts that can deal with every health challenge. The interactions between “human beings and their environments determine the health outcomes of different communities” (Butts & Rich, 2010, p. 43). Nurse Leaders should therefore embrace these ideas to produce the best medical goals.
Two Practice-Specific Concepts to My Nursing Practice
Moral Courage
I have always used the concept of moral courage to achieve my goals as a Nurse Leader. Many caregivers “offer their services in complex medical situations or environments” (Hobbs, 2009, p. 56). Many Nurse Leaders (NLs) “encounter numerous workplace challenges and problems” (Edmonson, 2010, p. 4). Workplace conflicts “are common because nurses and caregivers portray a wide range of disagreements” (Hobbs, 2009, p. 56). Many NPs use effective strategies to deal with different health challenges. However, moral distress “occurs whenever such conflicts and misunderstandings get out of hand” (Edmonson, 2010, p. 8). A large number of caregivers encounter numerous workplace differences and disagreements. These obstacles affect the performance of different caregivers. This development makes it impossible for many healthcare facilities to deliver adequate medical support to their patients (Edmonson, 2010).
The above discussion explains why “a large number of NPs encounter different forms of stress” (Edmonson, 2010, p. 12). I have embraced the concept of moral courage throughout my nursing practice. My goal is to change every challenging situation. This practice can produce the best outcomes. I have been reading widely in an attempt to acquire new skills and ideas. I have embraced new ideas “to make accurate decisions and cope with stress” (Edmonson, 2010, p. 12). Nurse Leaders should identify the moral conflicts and obstacles affecting their healthcare institutions. NLs should become “the best source of compliments, support, empowerment, and guidelines” (Hobbs, 2009, p. 54). Moral courage has become a powerful concept that supports my goals as a Nurse Leader. I have managed to address many ethical situations and conflicts in my facility. I am also planning to use this nursing concept in my future practice. This practice will support my future goals as a Nurse Leader.
Critical Thinking
Nurse Managers (NMs) and NLs should be good critical thinkers. Healthcare providers “should make adequate decisions whenever providing the best care to their clients” (Hobbs, 2009, p. 54). Such healthcare providers must make appropriate decisions whenever dealing with various health problems. Nurse Leaders encounter numerous “ethical situations and problems” (Butts & Rich, 2010, p. 64). That being the case, critical thinking is a powerful concept that can produce the targeted nursing results. Every Nurse Leader (NL) should use “reasoned and evidence-based ideas to offer accurate ideas” (Butts & Rich, 2010, p. 65).
Critical thinking makes it easier for many Nurse Managers (NMs) to understand the issues affecting their employees. NMs should also identify the most appropriate concepts that can deal with different healthcare problems. Caregivers should “analyze different arguments before making their final decisions” (Roussel, 2012, p. 13). Critical thinking is a powerful aspect of my nursing philosophy. The strategy makes it easier for me to identify the issues affecting my workmates, employees, and patients. I have always used this concept to make the best decisions. Such decisions have transformed the effectiveness of many working environments.

The “four meta-paradigms of nursing encourage medical practitioners to focus on the best healthcare outcomes” (Butts & Rich, 2010, p. 62). My nursing philosophy combines “the power of critical thinking and moral courage” (Butts & Rich, 2010, p. 89). I have managed to transform the conditions of many patients in different healthcare institutions. I have collaborated and interacted with many nurses in order to produce the best nursing outcomes. I have identified new ideas and concepts in order to become a professional Nurse Leader.
I have identified several propositions that can support my nursing philosophy. Such propositions will also encourage my employees to offer quality services to their patients. I will always encourage my workmates and caregivers to embrace these propositions. This “strategy will produce the best medical objectives in different medical facilities” (Edmonson, 2010, p. 16). These five propositions include:

These five propositions will encourage more caregivers to embrace the best nursing concepts. These propositions can make it easier for communities to achieve the best health goals. My nursing philosophy focuses on the best ideas, concepts, and practices that can produce quality results. Nurse Practitioners (NPs) should embrace these propositions in order to develop the best nursing philosophies. This process will “promote the health conditions of many individuals and their respective communities” (Edmonson, 2010, p. 8). I will read widely in order to acquire new nursing skills. This approach will eventually make me a competent Nurse Leader.
